Current research needs:
Create an archive of articles (electronic) covering the human rights implications of the climate crisis.
Write a more in-depth overview of the human rights implications of the climate crisis, to be published on the HRHR website.
Update HRHR’s policy recommendations.
Write a two-page paper including an overview and HRHR’s policy recommendations.
Using our existing materials as well as other materials, create an easy-to-read document outlining the reasons why the death penalty is flawed and ineffective. Graphic design experience is preferred.
Update genocide background information, reflecting the current on-the-ground situation in genocide-stricken areas.
Update HRHR policy recommendations
Slavery and Human Trafficking
Compress HRHR’s current recommendations into an easy-to-read pamphlet. Basic graphic design experience preferred.
Torture and the Rule of Law
Update HRHR policy recommendations.
Conduct in-depth research into the continuance of government and the State of Emergency provisions.
Compile articles for bi-weekly human rights update.
Compile articles about communicating and framing human rights issues, especially climate change.
Produce easy-to-read document about framing human rights issues.
Conduct surveys of candidates and all members of Congress in HRHR’s human rights issue areas.
